The house is a combination of 3 terrace lot which was acquired by the Chan family in 1861. Today, the Baba Nyonya house is still managed by the peranakan family.
It is believed that The Stadthuys is the oldest-surviving Dutch building in the East which was built in 1650 and it’s now one of the museums in Melaka.
Built by the British in 1901, this is probably the only functioning colonial water fountains left in Malaysia. The fountain is the famous backdrop for tourist’s photography.
